FIFA 21 Update 5: Game Modes Has Changed

Update 5 for FIFA 21 has been available for a few days now and we have already covered some of the changes it introduced to the game, as well as some of the issues it fixed. After discussing the gameplay updates and the general audio and visual changes, we will now discuss the changes introduced to the game modes like FIFA Ultimate Team, Career mode, Volta Football, and Pro Clubs.

Let us start right away with FUT; there have been several updates to that game mode since the release of the game. Update 5 has made one main change to the mode, you can now preview the audio for Club Anthem and Crowd Chant Items from the bidding options screen. The match simulation option is now labeled correctly when pausing the game during a match. Harry Armstrong’s model will now display correctly, even if you play with a real player in Career.

In Volta Football, the loading screens will appear for a longer time to allow the users to read the information displayed. Here are some of the issues that the patch has addressed in Volta. The avatar portraits will display the right background when you cycle through views in the My Squad screen. The news is now selected automatically when you start Volta Football. All the star players will now have the correct OVR display. Clothing items should now display correctly on avatars during the game scenes.

Finally, in Pro Clubs, your team can now perform Group, Team, and Camera celebrations and the camera will zoom towards the player who scored the goal during the celebrations.
